He added that he spoke to her parents and they were “devastated”.

Mourners came together over the weekend at Webster County high school in West Virginia to pay respects to Sarah.

She behaved with quiet strength, a contagious smile and a upbeat demeanor that encouraged people around her,” the principal, the principal of her previous school, informed the press. “She was kind, caring and always willing to support those in need.”

Officials have charged a 29-year-old suspect with one count of first-degree murder and charges of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.

The tragedy caused the administration to pause asylum applications and cease granting visas to possessors of travel documents.

Condition of Andrew Wolfe

Wolfe, a native of Martinsburg, enlisted in early 2019 and is a graduate of Musselman high school, according to the news agency.

Beckstrom, from her hometown, graduated from Webster County High in mid-2023 and joined the military shortly after, working as a military police officer with excellence, according to the military.

“She had a lot of compassion and she definitely had fortitude,” he addressed the audience at the service. “Though her time ended too soon, she has left a mark that’s going to endure.”
