Tehran is prepared to reinitiate atomic negotiations with Washington provided that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations worked, and revealed new appeals had been made by go-betweens to restart discussions with the American leadership. He asserted Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran could not yet allow the global atomic watchdog to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Course

The foreign minister is navigating a difficult path since Iran does not want appear to be acting from a position of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had emerged stronger defensively and psychologically from the joint assault on its atomic facilities in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium within its borders that it will never give up" – the main reason of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Prior Talks Suddenly Terminated

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that ended with the US president asserting the facilities had been destroyed. Following this, Western states exercised their authority to restore international penalties, but Iran maintains they have not had a major impact.

Magic Solution Proposed

Tehran representatives said they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in previous talks, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could process nuclear material. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's enrichment initiative was entirely non-military.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that American atomic experts could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. Representatives claimed three times they had reached agreement with Washington's diplomat the American negotiator only for the arrangement to collapse due to "detractors in America".

Current Status

Iran's diplomats said the cooperative arrangement was now no longer available, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be revived in certain ways if talks restart.

The American leader last week stated he had been obtaining communications that Iran wanted to resume discussions, but confidentially Tehran representatives state they are not yet obtaining coherent offers from Washington either explicitly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, Egypt, the Omani authorities and Saudi Arabia. The Iran's state department has been accused of non-responsiveness in the aftermath of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran asserts dialogue is not part of a show.

Political Stance

In his speech to the forum, designed to paint the US as a dominant force that exploits the idea of global regulations, the foreign minister said the two-week conflict revealed the dispute could not be resolved by combat operations. He said the strikes started with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an absolute demand for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is convinced the first strikes by Israel were executed with total Washington understanding and coordination, making trust hard to reestablish.

Negotiations Remains the Ultimate Answer

The foreign minister stated: "It was not Iran that had fled diplomacy; it was America and the European states that had consistently tried to impose their demands during the discussions. Dialogue can still be viable and remains the primary answer to settle disputes, but its standards, guidelines and tenets must be adhered to."

"If they speak to the Iranian people with the approach of respect and respect, they will get a response in the equivalent tone."

Recovery and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Tehran representatives as the battle of repair and recovery, the foreign minister claimed he was confident Iran's defence capabilities "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We gained numerous insights from this engagement; we have discovered our internal vulnerabilities and the shortcomings of the opponent."

He stated: "We managed to survive this engagement. Our nuclear technology, which they planned to eliminate, stays intact. The sites and machinery, if destroyed, will be restored; what is important is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the national cohesion that they targeted, but were unable to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have developed stronger, more cohesive, and more backing of the administration and the nation in the wake of this attack."
