Defiant Celtic's manager does not fear being fired yet the Parkhead faithful show wrath following defeat.
Wilfried Nancy stated he did not fear the sack, asserting, “We are very near to a turnaround,” despite edging perilously close to being fired with a heavy loss to their arch-rivals.

The home side were in front the visitors at the break but a disastrous second period allowed the Gers to pull level on points with the defending Scottish Premiership champions. The former MLS manager, who was hired in December, has now presided over six losses in his last eight fixtures.
“The board and I are united with the board,” insisted Nancy.
Questioned about his own future, Nancy replied: “I don’t think about it. I concentrate on finding ways to help my team to excel on details.

“Wins and losses [that leads to pressure]. So this is the reality for the moment. Yet when I say that’s how it is, that is not a sign that I am a defeatist guy. Not at all. What I mean we are really close, really, really close to turn things around.”

He remains focused on the fact the side can perform strongly for a half at a time. In fact, but for wastefulness in front of goal they could have been more than 1-0 up. “I saw enough other than the fact that we didn't take more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but it's important to stay balanced.
“The standard we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That is a fact. And I would not talk like that if it was not the case. But that’s why, in terms of results, I mentioned we've seen this before. For that reason I said that a change is coming to getting it right. Currently: details, details, details.”
“We produced plenty of positives that we did, once more. The issue now is performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would be different the same. This is why I am a big believer we will manage to turn things around.”
Opposition Reaction Outlook
Rangers manager refused to contemplate a title charge even after what felt like a statement victory. “We take it game by game, then we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The faith in the group is outstanding.”
