Substantial Hailstones and Broad Impact

Locals observed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities verified that multiple regions across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

At one point on yesterday, in excess of 28k energy customers in Victoria were without power.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was expected to become the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk predicted across different parts of both regions.

Medical authorities warned that there was an higher risk of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, particularly given the ongoing climate situation.
